Who I am
My background is Clinical Psychology and among my research interests are psychological factors in somatic diseases. In 2007, I spent six months working as a research assistant at the Respiratory Research Unit in Plymouth.
After my return to Switzerland I started a PhD entitled "Consumer's mental models of food risks" at the ETH Zurich. I am exploring why consumers perceive certain aspects of food (e.g. overnutrition, bacteria, chemicals) as more dangerous than others. My research is mainly survey-based.
