Who I am

I am Professor of Health Psychology at the University of Plymouth and lead the Health and Psychology Research group. I have been involved in respiratory disease for many years and am the author of the Living with Asthma Questionnaire, the Asthma Bother Profile, and the Breathing Problems Questionnaire, the short version of which is designed to evaluate outcome in pulmonary rehabilitation clinics.

My role in the development of the scale

I selected the method of questionnaire construction with its focus on using patients as experts. I moderated all the focus groups, and was responsible for the items of the questionnaire.

My current role and the reason why people should contact me

My current role with this questionnaire is to have oversight on translations and on any development of the scale. You should contact me if you wish to translate the scale or have need for a translated version or if you want to modify the scale for any reason.
